Web Analysis Web Analytics
Clarity in the data jungle
Web analytics is the tool to scrutinise a company's online activities. They collect and analyse data to enhance the understanding of website usage. Our focus is on measuring, collecting, analysing, and presenting data - we aim to provide our clients with a comprehensive overview of activities, users, and revenues. We rely on proven tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and also Matomo.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is our all-rounder among web analytics tools, providing us with quantitative data about our users and customers across devices and platforms. Since 2020, it has become even smarter with the functionality to capture event-based data for websites and apps. We can also integrate data from other Google Marketing Platforms such as Google Search Console and Google Ads (formerly known as Google AdWords), consolidating everything in one place.
Google Tag Manager
The Google Tag Manager is a true code wizard, allowing us to incorporate code snippets such as tracking codes or conversion pixels without altering the website's source code. With the Google Tag Manager, we now have the ability to obtain more accurate data about our conversions (whether organic or paid) in Google Analytics and make optimisations accordingly.
SISTRIX
SISTRIX is an analysis program for website rankings. It is regularly used in our SEO optimisations. The tool boasts a specially developed visibility index that accurately describes the Google visibility of a domain. The higher the value, the better the ranking of a website.
In SISTRIX, we closely track and monitor the ranking of our websites. We conduct competitor analyses and thoroughly search for suitable keywords. With the Optimizer module, we can identify and quickly fix website errors.
Matomo
Matomo, formerly known as Piwik, is an open-source web analytics tool that particularly focuses on maintaining the data integrity and privacy of users. Here, control over sensitive information remains 100% with the users. Unlike some other analytics tools, Matomo complies with the strictest data protection laws such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, LGPD, and PECR. The tool also offers some helpful analytics features, although they are not as extensive as those in Google Analytics 4. Additionally, Matomo is not as easy to use, as the detail views are somewhat more complex.
